In this context, Fire Credit has adopted a code of ethics that enforces strict rules of discipline and conduct, applicable in relationships with both partners and debtors.
The company’s operations are supported by its own organizational, management, and control model, which ensures professionalism and efficiency.
Fire Credit employees are trained to handle conflict situations with debtors in a legal and ethical manner, strictly complying with current legislation, including:
Law 679/2016 – on the protection of individuals and the processing of personal data (GDPR)
Law 506/2004 – on the processing of personal data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector
Law 129/2019 – on the prevention and combating of money laundering

ISO 37001

ISO 37001 provides the requirements and guidance for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and improving an anti-bribery management system.
The system can operate independently or be integrated into a broader management system. The standard addresses bribery in the public, private, and non-profit sectors, covering both bribery committed or received by an organization or its personnel, as well as through third parties.
Corruption can occur in any context, regardless of its value, and may involve both financial and non-financial benefits.

FENCA

The Federation of European National Collection Associations (FENCA) is a non-profit organization founded on January 15, 1993, serving as an umbrella group for national debt collection associations across Europe. By 2011, 20 countries had joined the organization. FENCA's main goals include:

  • Protecting and supporting member associations
  • Promoting European legislation in the debt collection industry
  • Ensuring collected client funds are kept separate from agency assets
  • Encouraging members to develop client protection insurance, complaints resolution committees, staff training, and standardized contract guidelines.

AMCC

The Association for Commercial Debt Management (AMCC) was founded in 2007 by Coface, EOS KSI, and Creditreform, and now has 12 members. It is a full member of FENCA, making Romania the 15th country to join the federation. AMCC aims to:

  • Represent its members nationally and internationally
  • Promote credit management services
  • Support relevant legislation in Romania
  • Become the leading national association for debt collection
  • Implement high-quality standards in receivables management.
