FIRE CREDIT IS ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN THE BATTLE AGAINST COVID-19

“All countries must strike a fine balance between protecting health, preventing economic and social disruption, and respecting human rights. This is not just a public health crisis, it is a crisis that will touch every sector – so every sector and every individual must be involved in the fight.” said Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, WHO Director General.

In the full pandemic, Fire Credit SRL, understanding and respecting concepts like solidarity and responsibility, is getting involved in this fight as a full member of the Association of the Management for Commercial Claims in Romania (AMCC), and, along with the other 14 associate members, representing about 80% of the debt management market in Romania, has decided to adopt special measures in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, measures that will come to meet the consumers that are now facing special situations and for which we must show flexibility and understanding, as well as measures to help, as much as possible, to limit the spread of the virus.

Therefore, in order to come and offer support to the consumers and / or to companies affected by the coronavirus, as well as to protect their employees during the state of emergency dictated by the public authorities, but also in consideration of the press release issued by the National Union of Judicial Executors regarding the forced foreclosure procedures, the debt collection companies considered the extension of a series of support measures adopted in the interests of the consumers and agreed on the following conclusions:

  1. During the state of emergency, the members of the AMCC will ensure the suspension of any forced evacuation procedures and, at the same time, of any new procedures for direct real estate foreclosure.
  2. The granting, upon request, to those consumers and / or companies affected by the effects of coronavirus, payment schedules and adjustment of the payments due according to their new financial situation, in order to protect those affected by the effects of the pandemic;
  3. Based on the documents provided by the individuals and / or the companies affected by the pandemic, solutions will be implemented regarding the temporary suspension of the forced foreclosures in these situations and / or the amicable and agreed sale of the guarantees;
  4. Limiting the activities of field visits, in order to comply with the obligation to ensure social distancing, except in cases where this service represents a contractual obligation on its own and only for the purpose of providing assistance for payment, signing of payment commitments, etc.;
  5. Guaranteeing the integrity and confidentiality of the personal data, thus ensuring the legal processing in the context of the specific measures adopted by the authorities;
  6. AMCC members encourage the use of online payment channels, in order to limit the trips to the payment points and to avoid the use of banknotes and coins.

The full statement regarding the measures taken by the members of the AMCC can be found here: http://amcc.ro/masuri-speciale-in-contextul-pandemiei-de-covid19/
